Jonathan Moreno (Sixtoagusto) and Fernando Luna (Colossio) formed the band in 2011 and immediately gained attention of the alternative music press around México and Latin America, from Me Hace Ruido and SICARIO to Red Bull Music and VICE, their top-notch and fresh mixture of Chillwave and Electronic Pop-Rock started to be a common topic around the underground music scene.

Andrés Duarte and Daniel Jasso joined the band in 2012 and finally things started to take shape so 'The Empathy' focused on record and release its debut EP under the Torreón-based netlabel, MYRDAL, which features two original tracks and three notable remixes by talented mexican producers such as Polyo Child, Vice Not Now and Cacatoés.
